Diet

The Benefits of Fiber

If you've read the details of my diet regimen under the "My Regimens" tab, then you know that I follow a low-fat, high-fiber diet. Adding fiber to your diet not only aids the digestion process, but it also helps prevent illnesses such as cancer and heart disease. The following article titled "What is Fiber?" fully explains the benefits one can reap from adding fiber to one's diet.

The next time you get hungry, why not grab a fiber-rich food such as an apple, a handful of almonds, some beans, or carrots? Your body will thank you for it!
