Today's Bible verse is a tricky one, because whenever one talks about idols, I tend to think of other religions, or actual gods that exist within different belief systems. However, an idol can be anything that takes you away from God. The Internet and television are probably two of the biggest idols that exist today.
"Dear children, keep yourselves from idols." 1 John 5:21 (NIV)
