Forgiving someone can be really hard, but when you think about how many times God has forgiven us--and the extent at which he forgives--it makes the wrongs that others have committed against us seem frivolous. Anytime I think about how horrible someone has treated me, I remind myself of how Jesus, a man who was free from sin, was treated unfairly for no reason at all.
"If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness; therefore you are feared." Psalm 130:3-4 (NIV)
