My Bumblebee Look
I just wanted to share this bumblebee inspired look I put together. It's a very simple look I did using the matte black eye shadow in my Multi-Color Icing palette and my Blond Pearl by NYX.
After applying the Blond Pearl to my lids below the crease, I then used the Scotch tape method to create a neat V-shape in the outer corners of my eyes with the black:
And this was the end result:

Still a rookie at this but trying to understand how does the scotch tape come into play when applying the the darker color to the rest of the look?

Element: The tape ensures for a smooth V-shape. It basically gives me a border so I don't apply the black beyond that point. It also helps in catching the fallout.
