Hawaiian Silky Stands up to Humidity!

My stay in Florida was fabulous, but the heat and humidity was no joke! Although the weather wasn't unbearable (that is, it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the humid summers I've experienced in Detroit or NYC), it was a little uncomfortable. Sweating and feeling sticky by the end of the day was not fun. I feared that my hair would be a big frizzy mess by the end of the day, but surprisingly, that wasn't the case. The only products I took with me were my big bottle of Hawaiian Silky 14-in-1 Miracle Worker (Yes, I packed the whole bottle and checked my bag, 'cause TSA is trippin' when it comes to those rinky dink 3 oz bottles they allow on the plane!) and my Isoplus gel for my edges. I rinsed my hair daily and applied the Hawaiian Silky to my curls just as I explained in my Styling with Hawaiian Silky post, and that was enough to beat the humidity! I wore my hair in a ponytail the entire trip, and my curls did not poof out as I had feared. Certain products claim to battle the effects of humidity, but I don't always know how effective they are until I visit a place that is truly humid.

So, for my East coast divas still searching for a curly haired product that will stand up against humidity, why not give Hawaiian Silky 14-in-1 Miracle Worker a try? Remember, saturating your hair is key, so be sure to use an ample amount of product to tame the frizz.

I just bought my first bottle of Hawaiian Silky and I'm trying it out on my hair and my son's hair. We are at the end of our humid season here in NC, but this is good info for the future.
