A Cure for Gray Hair?

L'Oreal claims to be working on a cure for gray hair that may be available to the public in the next ten years or so. Hair, like our skin, gets its color from cells called melanocytes. Over time, these cells disappear, causing the hair to lose its color. L'Oreal is trying to develop an oral element or pill rather, that will assist melanocytes that still exist within the hair shaft to continue producing color. Now, I know quite a few people who suffer from premature graying, but is facing possible side effects from taking a pill or some other form of oral treatment worth reversing the aging process? Tell me, would you take the pill?

For more information on a possible cure for gray hair, see Gray Hair Cure Available in 10 Years, Says L'Oreal.

No, I wouldn't take the pill. My parents, grandparents and great grandparents aged beautifully. My mother didn't get gray hair until she was in her late 40's. She is 50 now and her hair still looks the same. My great grandmother died at 98 yrs old with white tailbone length hair, so as of today when that time comes for me I will embrace it.
