The "Take Back Your Hair" Challenge Results

The "Take Back Your Hair" Challenge results are in, and boy are we looking fab :-). Based on the emails I received from you ladies, I think we all agree that these past three months of little to no heat and regular TLC has done us good. Being forced to follow a regimen has proven to be effective in achieving and maintaining a healthy head of hair.

Below are the before and after photos of the September participants. Some of us achieved more length, but overall I believe we all noticed an improvement in the health of our hair. Again, I'm thankful for those of you who participated, as this was a great experience for me as well. Doing this challenge with the support of my divas made things much easier :-).

For those of you who have yet to submit your progress updates, please do so ASAP by emailing them to
DPrincess_28@yahoo.com. Those of you who didn't participate, I encourage you to take the challenge, as it can help you reach your hair care goals and adopt a solid regimen.

Until next time...

XOXO,

DPrincess28

OMG... it's so crazy seeing the side-by-side pics. All my years of being relaxed, I never had edges like that... AMAZING. Thanks again for the challenge. It was good to start training my hair especially with the two textures.

The results are amazing. I hope there is another hair challenge coming up soon. I purchased the Park Ave Hydrate conditioner which is by Naturelle which is so far so good if you have not already experimented with it. Oh, the Jibere de Paris is awesome!!! I just bought that flat iron today and it came with a free hair dyer : ) love it!

I didn't get a chance to "officially" sign up but I did it from the sidelines..lol. It's gr8 to see such improvement, not just length but the fact that you notice the health and thickness of the hair. Gr8 job 2 everyone!

This challenge definitely made me take better care of my hair. I'm excited with my results and my new knowledge of how to take care of my new hair. It has been a great journey. I did a lot of trims so I don't know how long my hair is now, but it is very healthy now and I now know what products work best for me. It's amazing how when I had a relaxer and it was time for a touch up my hair just looked so bad. But now since it's been 7 months with out a relaxer my edges are actually bone straight. It's weird, and the rest of my hair is super curly. It's just beautiful. Thank you for this challenge. I look forward to the next challenge.
