Daily Devotion

Remember, faith does not always mean that there is an absence of fear. Faith is continuing to move forward in spite of one's fear so that God can work wonders in our lives. Peter was a disciple who trusted in the Lord, and although his fear may have interfered with his walk with God, he was able to experience the magnificence of walking on water because he believed.

"And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" --Matthew 14:29-31 (KJV)
