Red, White and Blue
I was feeling very patriotic this past fourth of July weekend, so I decided to paint my nails white with red and blue "splats." I used Snow Me White by Sinful Colors, Red Speckle by Santee and Blue Streak by Ulta.
I got the idea for this look from iCraiz, one of my fav makeup gurus. Peep the tutorial here:Although I used different colors, I do plan on trying the black base next time. This was a fun look to do, and the best part is that it didn't have to be "perfect," which made it the perfect nail design for a klutz like me ;-).

You have inspired me! I haven't painted my finger nails in YEARS! I always keep the toes in check, but I got frustrated w/painting my natural nails in college because of frequent chipping. Now I wanna get back into it....I just need to get me some of that crackle top coat! Thanks!

@Tee Eee: Thanks girl! I've also decided to start taking better care of my nails. You're right about the hands requiring more time/patience. Polish just doesn't last long on natural nails, but I'm really not feeling like getting acrylic right now.
