It's high time I switched things up around here, and the easiest way to get a new attitude is to don a new do'! I therefore decided to buy some human hair extensions. And no, my goal is not to look like Nicki Minaj!
The pink hair extensions are actually for my niece who will be getting her hair straightened for the first time in a few weeks. My sister promised her she could get it flat ironed for her sixth birthday, and of course she just has to have a pink streak. Her hair will be styled by none other than yours truly, and I'll definitely be doing a post on that whole experience, so stay tuned...
The other extensions are Indian Jerry Curl by Remi. Similar to my tresses, this hair curls when wet. The first pack is F1B/30, 12" and the second is 27, 14". I bought the second pack after realizing that the 12" will be too short. Although I'm not too concerned about the length, as I bought the hair more for a color change than a length boost, I still have to make sure that it's long enough to stand out considering where I plan to place the extensions. I don't plan on keeping the hair the color you see above, which leads me to my next item:
#2. Hair Dye
I've been craving red locks ever since Keyshia Cole hit the scene with her two-toned locks. I was inspired again when Rihanna debuted her fiery red mane. I plan to dye the extensions you see above this Intensive Red color by Creme of Nature. I'm also thinking about adding a few streaks of color to my real hair, so stay tuned...
#3. Extra Lite Super Gro by Bronner Bros
This is one of my favorite products. 'Nuff said.
#4. Hawaiian Silky Curl Activator Gel
Now y'all know I love me some Hawaiian Silky! However, the lotion doesn't cut it in the winter, so after a few viewer suggestions, I switched to the curl activator gel, which I love just as much! Thanks peeps ;-)
#5. False Eyelashes in #505
They didn't have my favs, #510, so I had to settle for these. Hopefully they'll do the trick.

I somehow managed to break just about every pair of shades I had, so I had to buy some more. These shades, which I got from Burlington Coat Factory, were about $10 a pair. The top are by Franco Sarto and the bottom are by Rocawear.
