*The purpose of these pics is to show the length and condition of my hair as I slowly transitioned from relaxed to natural. Although I wore phony ponies throughout my transition, I did straighten my hair periodically to check length and trim off the relaxed ends.

December 6, 2008 (My natural hair was long here, but it was not as healthy as it could be. I believe the weekly straightening (blow drying and flat ironing) thinned it out. This is the point where I decided to air dry my hair prior to straightening and only use heat once a month).
