I find it funny that I happened to stumble upon today's verse considering that a colleague of mine recently asked me what I considered to be the best piece of advice anyone has ever given me. Now, I've been given a lot of advice in my lifetime, but one tidbit that stands out is something my father has always said: "Be a man of your word." Well, I strongly believe in being a woman of my word, especially since I've run across a lot of people who are full of false promises. If your word is no good, then you have no integrity.
"The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out." Proverbs 10:9 (NIV)
