My Review of The Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel by Garnier Fructis Style

Okay divas, so I tested out the Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel by Garnier Fructis Style a few weeks ago, and I must say that it was nothing to shout about. In fact, I don't even see the need to do a video on it. Basically, it shaped my curls pretty well, smelled great, but left my hair feeling crispy in some places (I guess in the places where the product had been applied the most). It also got a little flaky in some areas, but didn't dry my hair out like the Silk 'N Curl Styling Curl Activating Crème Gel by Smooth 'N Shine Polishing. Instead, it left a slightly slimy feeling to my curls, which was a little surprising given that it felt hard like gel in some places. It reminded me of how my curls feel when I get too much build up from reapplying my Worlds of Curls activator gel.

The pic shown here is of my hair styled with the product. Although it kept my curls in place, I don't think I'll be buying this product again. The price was right, but the product didn't perform any better than my tried and true combination of Bronner Bros. and World of Curls, and the point is to find a replacement, so…the search goes on!

In Summary:
  • The product smelled great
  • The price was right (around $3.25)
  • The product didn't dry out my hair like the Silk 'N Curl Styling Curl Activing Crème Gel by Smooth 'N Shine Polishing, but it did have it feeling crispy in some areas, and left a flaky residue
  • The product left a slightly slimy feeling to my curls in some places
  • I won't be buying this product again
