One 'n Only Ceramic Silk

New product alert! Well, kinda…

You ladies know that I love the One 'n Only Ceramic Silk shampoo and conditioner. I've used those products in the past to help prepare my hair for heat and preserve my color. Well, yesterday I decided to buy another product from the One 'n Only line of hair care products: The Ceramic Silk Thermal Protection Ironing Crème.

I ran across this product a while ago and finally decided to give it a try. I'm not the type of person to use an entire line of hair care products to wash, condition, and style my hair, so I think it will be interesting to give this a go. Here's a description of the product as stated on the back of the tube:

"A light silicone-based crème which provides thermal protection while ironing hair with heat-styling appliances. Ceramic silk technology refines, resurfaces, and polishes hair for smooth, shiny styles. Created to work along with your flat iron to deliver break-resistant, lustrous and pin-straight hair. Seals in shine, reduces frizz and static electricity, reduces unwanted volume from coarse, thick hair. Provides control, manageability and humidity resistance."

Directions: Distribute evenly through hair from roots to ends when hair is damp to dry, prior to using a flat iron.

The product received pretty good reviews on www.sallybeauty.com. I'll be straightening my hair with this in about a week or so, and will post the results so you can see how it turns out.
