Movies Anyone?

It's Friday, and I'm sure some of you will be venturing off to the theater tonight or this weekend to check out some of the new movies that have recently come out. I must say that Terminator Salvation was pretty good. Much better than the third installment, which I don't even remember, so that should tell you what I thought about it! It was full of action, which I love, so I would recommend it if you love the Terminator series. I didn't get a chance to check out Star Trek, because I've never really been a Star Trek fan, at least not of the post Captain Kirk era. However, I've heard great things about the movie from all my friends, so it may be one to look out for. Now, that new horror flick called Drag Me To Hell…um, yeah, I won't be checking that out, like ever!

As for the new comedy, Dance Flick, by the Wayans' brothers, don't waste your time or your money. I laughed maybe two times throughout the entire movie. The Wayans have a tendency to go overboard with their potty humor, and I just wasn't feeling it this time around -- especially the irreverent references they made to some of our most prolific, iconic figures such as Ray Charles. I guess I'll take a page from Damon Wayans' book and end this with a big fat, "Hated it!"

See you Monday :-).

XOXO,

"Night at the Museum, Battle of the Smithsonian" was ABSOLUTELY hillarious and adventurous, never a dull moment. Sorry, I have three kids so childrens' movies are the majority of what I watch. This movie was also educational. It touched a little on the Tuskegee Airmen. Go watch it people.

girl go see star trek! when i tell you i've never watched star trek or even know what star trek was about, i mean in lol. but this movie was amazing, and i dont think you have to see any previous star trek films or shows to see this movie because it is geared toward the new generation of people. action from the very begining to the very end!

I have to disagree with you and say that I rather enjoyed Dance Flick. Yea they did make fun of some icons but I just take it as humor and do not dive to deeply into it. I saw it at matinee price and it was worth my $5...the son is very funny
