Out of 230 of you, there's only about five of you who comment regularly! Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the feedback from my five divas :-), but I want to get to know ALL my sisters, and I can't do that if you don't sound off from time to time. What is your makeup style? What kind of products do you like? This blog is informative, but it's much better when it's interactive. At least let me know what it is you'd like to see or get information on. Here are some topics I'll be hitting on in the coming weeks:
- Quick and easy curly hairstyles for ladies on the go
- Curly updos
- Inspiration for transitioners
- Two stranded twists
- Curly hair products that are a hit or miss
- Flexi-rod set
- Roller set (wet set)
- Reasons and remedies for hair thinning/loss
- Scalp Massages
Expect to see videos and blog posts on these topics shortly. If there is anything in particular you'd like to see added to the list, please post it here. I'll do my best to fulfill all requests as time permits.
XOXO,
DPrincess28

Hi Dprincess28,
When you are doing your curly up do tutorials please don't forget the name of the new products you used to create these styles...
Also on your curly products hit or miss I'm sre you are going to let us know ultimately what products will be a permanent staple in your regimen....
All these topics sound great!!
Hey girl,
I love your blog. Hey, I tried the One and Only thermal creme. And for me, its' only silky just after i've flat ironed it. The next day after wrapping my hair, my hair was dull. It's like my hair drank all the creme. I started to flat iron a little bit more and I can see the shine come back. But I do NOT want to flat iron my hair everyday just to get the shine to come through. It's like the ceramic on the flat iron is what's bringing the shine from the cream out. But for me after awhile the shine is gone and my hair looks very dry. I think I might need something like a glosser where I can put on the hair everyday not too much because my hair is fine like yours. Right now, I am loving Kera Care products and I need to find something that won't weigh my hair down but gives it a shine without flat ironing multiple times. But thanks for the tips, like you said, what works for you may not work for others.
Hey Dprincess, I always frequent your blog and youtube channel. I enjoy them both. Iim looking forward to the roller set tutorial cause that is a technique I need guidance in. I have a blog also if you don't mind checking it out. http://hairstrandz.blogspot.com/
Hi there! I love your blog! It has been very helpful during my transition. Do you plan on posting pictures and transition/BC stories from your readers? That would be fun and inspirational.
Hey Lady,
I just started following your blog :) I think you are great! I came to your blog in hopes of finding some styles for my curls and it made me smile to see you will be posting some videos on that soon. So, keep up the good work!
Great topics Supreme Diva! Can't wait!
Hey Dprincess!...I am definitely guilty of being a silent follower....I come in to read and bounce!...Ok so I'm going to try to leave comments on the board instead of sounding off to my laptop!...But keep up the good work! The site is fabulous and informative...I acutally...lol...just left from the beauty supply store and bought that Bronner Bros..and World of Curls activator product you always talk about...I am going to (drum roll please)...try to style my hair curl for the first time since I have began transitioning 8 months ago...I think I'll do a EVOO leave in tonite and try other stuff tomorrow...I'll let you know how it looks!
these ideas sound great! cant wait for them!
Hey divas, now that's what I'm talking about! You guys spoke up for once, LOL! Anywho, thanks for all the feedback. I like to feel like I'm not alone out here in the blogosphere :-).
As for you anonymous ladies: #1. The one who tried the One 'N Only Ceramic Silk Creme, did you also use the Silk Elements Olive heat protection spray? I ask because my hair was dry with only the creme, and wouldn't have been silky had I not used the Silk Elements on top of it.
Anonymous#2: Posting pics of the bc and transitioning ladies is a great idea! I'll definitely get on that :-). Oh, and you can submit yours to DPrincess_28@yahoo.com if you have one.
Kkolicole: Def tell me how those products work for you.
And Hairstrandz, I'll have to check out your blog!
Glad you guys like the topics. They're on the way...
XOXO
I Like the Inspiration for Transitioners topic. I am currently transitioning, so or course I need to stay inspired. I am a long-term transitioner, so any kind of inspiration will help. I first found you through YouTube and you were to first to inspire me to transition. So thanks and keep inspiring others.
Oh, and of course keep the Daily Devotions coming.
xo,
LSL
Hey DPrincess, I'm one of your young divas who really likes to checkout your blog and youtube almost everyday and I absolutely love the infomation that you give us, everything you say is so helpful and informative!!
Here are some things I would like for you to talk about: beauty tips or something of that sort, and then it would be good if you added in their a couple of hygiene do's and don'ts... If you don't mind.
Oh yea and one more thing, how to keep your hair smelling fresh like what products are good for that besides the olive oil moisturizing hair lotion.
Thanks, you are an inspiration.
Thanks L.S.L. for the feedback!
Also, thanks for the topic ideas Nicole123. I'll keep those in mind :-).
XOXO
Hey Diva,
I have a question: have you ever tried the baggie method? If so, what is your opinion about the method.
Hi I am anonymous #1 No I did not use the other one. I just used One 'N Only Ceramic Silk Creme. Well, I also used the Aphoghee leave one conditioner and Kera Care blow dry lotion. It could be product overload. Like I said, I love Kera Care, so I am going to toss the One 'N Only Ceramic Silk Creme. It made it to sticky.
Thanks though.
Also, I wanted to know more about how to combat thinning hair and almost bald spots. I am only 41 years old and for about 9 years gradually my hair has been thinning. I am now trying the scalp scrub by Organic Root.. So I am trying that for a while, I am also taking GNC nourish hair vitamins.
Also I know you don't do the straight look in the summer, but when you get back to that in the fall, I would like for you to do more tutorials on straight styles.
Thanks
Thanks ladies for all the feedback! I will definitely try to incorporate all your concerns in upcoming vids/blog posts.
Lakitiamarie: I've never tried the baggie method, and quite honestly, don't really know what it is, although I hear it mentioned on the forums A LOT. I'll have to check it out and get back to you...
Ok Dprincess...I wanted to check in and let you know the results of trying to duplicate your "How I get My Curls To Pop" Video...I detangled my hair..washed it with a moisturizing shampoo...and conditioned...I used the Bronner Bros and the Curl activator....and drum roll please....The Results:...I looked like Sho Nuff from the The Last Dragon movie!....lol...I gotta go back to the drawing board...you make it look sooo easy!
Kkolicole: You had me crackin' up! Why did my husband tell me I looked like Sho Nuff from The Last Dragon in my Truest Diva contest video when I announced the winners. You know, the part where I pinned my bangs back! That is too funny! Oh well, maybe you just need to find products that work better for your hair. Don't give up! XOXO
