Daily Devotion
Through all the hardships I've endured in life, I must say that I've learned to truly appreciate what I have. Whenever I think I'm struggling to make it, I just think of all the victims of Hurricane Katrina who lost everything -- family members on top of material possessions -- to a natural disaster. Things can always be worse, so it's important to keep everything in perspective and remain content in knowing that God will always provide you with what you need.
"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content." Philippians 4:11 (NIV)

I visit your blog daily and subscribe to your YouTube channel as well. This is my first time leaving a comment here though. I want you to know that your daily devotions encourage my heart so much! This scripture was right on time for me today! My mother and I just got through having a bible study over the phone and we talked about this. Keep up the good work and PLEASE keep on Blessing others!
Amen.
Thanks Japrollins for the feedback :-). God has blessed me, so I can't help but spread the word!!
