My Interpretation of Divalicious Look #4
A few days ago, I posted four makeup tutorials I found on YouTube (Divalicious Looks). I was a little bummed out that none of you commented on them, because I think they're hot and wanted to know what some of you thought of them. In addition, the fourth look featured my favorite YouTube diva, Miss Goldenchild789. I mentioned her in my YouTube video titled, (My Makeup: A Peak Inside My Train Case). She is one of my biggest makeup inspirations, and the reason I began playing with eyeshadow in the first place.
Below is my interpretation of Divalicious Look #4, which Goldenchild789 created using her Too Faced Insurance palette. It was a simple pink and blue look. The products I used to duplicate this look are:
- EP23 Serenade palette by L.A. Colors
- Spirited duo by L'Oreal Hip
- Smashbox Trio
Application:
#1. Sweep the second color (from the left) in the EP23 Serenade palette all over the lower lid.
#2. Apply the dark blue in the Spirited duo palette to the outer corner of the eyelid and the crease.
#3. Apply the light pinkish color in the Smashbox trio to the brow bone as a highlight.
#4. With an eyeliner brush, sweep some of the pink (second from the left) in the EP23 Serenade palette underneath the eye from the center to the inner corner. Next, use the same brush to sweep some of the dark blue in the Spirited duo palette underneath the eye starting from the outer corner and drag it to the center until it meets up with the pink.

I applied black eyeliner to the upper and lower lids and applied a few coats of mascara to finish the look. I then topped it all off with a shimmery pink gloss on my lips in 02 by Max.
I think Goldenchild789 definitely did a better job blending the colors, as her look pops more with a peek-a-boo pink effect. Oh well, I'll just practice some more until I get it right!

That pink gloss is pretty!! I don't think it said it in the blog but if so I apologize, where did you get it from?? i want that. && you're so pretty.
Awe, thanks Nicole123, that's so sweet of you to say! I got the lip gloss from my local beauty supply store. I don't know where else to get it. I think it's a generic form of MAC lip gloss, because it's called MAX, LOL!
