Wrap it Up!
I mentioned in my How I Roller Set My Hair @ Night video that I don't care to wrap my hair simply because it's easier to sweat out a press if all the hair is packed down against my scalp. All it takes is one drop of sweat, and I'm through! However, a few weeks ago I decided to give wrapping a try since I didn't feel like sporting the curly look.
Below are pictures of my attempt at wrapping my hair:
Step 1: I created a part from ear to ear and began combing the hair that fell above my ears forward toward my face. Then, I took the new paddle brush I purchased at Sally's and used it to brush my hair around my head in a circular motion.
Step 2: Once all my hair was wrapped, I then took my satin scarf and tied it around my head to protect my hair at night.
Step 3: In the morning, I used my fingers to unwrap my hair, then ran the paddle brush through it to smooth the hairs in place. This was the result:
As you can see, wrapping my hair made the strands lie down and appear much smoother than they had before. I didn't sweat my hair out during the night as I had feared, thanks to the fact that I wore a light gown and slept with the fan on!
I haven't yet perfected my wrap technique, but I definitely think it's something I'll try whenever I wish to take a break from the roller set method.

It turned out really nice.
I love how your hair came out after the wrap (:
They always help me and leave my edges smooth.
Thanks ladies!
When my hair was longer and I wrapped it, I used to part it straight down the middle first. That seemed to help me wrap it easier...
Great job! I too am still trying to perfect my wrap technique!
