Happy Birthday to Me!

There's no rule saying that you can't buy yourself a birthday gift, now is there? Well, guess what I picked up for myself last week when I was at the mall...

This is Urban Decay's I Love New York palette, and those of you who have been following my blog for a long time should know that I do indeed, love New York! Remember My Trip to New York! post from last year? Well, anywho, this palette is Urban Decay's "limited edition" holiday special. Now, the sales rep may have been lying when he said it would only be available for a limited time, but I don't care, 'cause I'm a sucker for all things pretty anyway :-).

Just look at how fabulous this palette is. Not only does it come with 16 eye popping shades, two eyeliners, and a small container of Urban Decay's primer potion, but it also has this beautiful pop-up scene of New York that lights up:

Believe me, the pic does not do it justice! I've only had this palette for a few days now, and I've already created two fabulous looks with it. Check them out:

I recently expressed my desire to have more acrylic drawers to store and organize my makeup in. I was therefore pleasantly surprised to unwrap this acrylic organizer. Don't you just love it when men pay attention?
