My Mini MAC Haul

Now when I say this is a "mini" haul, I ain't lyin, 'cause it is small, but it packs a mean punch!

I was scrolling through some old posts of mine and realized that I have been using my concealer by Mary K since 2010 and beyond...yikes! To say it was time to clean out my makeup drawer is an understatement. Since I love to highlight and contour my face when I go out, concealer was the first item on the list.


One of the MAC beauties helped me pic out this concealer, which is a few shades lighter than my complexion. Unlike the Mary K concealer, which was starting to look ashy, this color gives the skin a slightly brightened highlight. The color is NC 45, and it's from their liquid, Pro Longwear line. I recently learned that NC colors are for those with yellow undertones and NW for pink undertones. Didn't know pink was an option but hey, at least now I know to only shop for the NC colors...

The MAC beauty thought that the concealer alone wasn't enough to give my skin a golden glow, so she recommended that I layer the concealer with a golden eye shadow.

Bam! Here is Arena, a satin eye shadow with beautiful gold flecks.

Last but not least on this mini haul is this fabulous lippie called Amp it Up:

The color is a bright pink with purple undertones.
