My New Str8 Hair Reggie
I've been experimenting with a lot of products and styling methods lately to see what works best for my hair. I mentioned in two previous posts that I wanted to try two products from the One 'n Only Ceramic Silk line of hair care products. Although I've been using their thermal protection shampoo and conditioner for years, I've never tried anything else from that line until now…and boy, was I trippin'!
I'm absolutely in love with the One 'n Only Ceramic Silk Flat Iron Crème! It is a non-greasy formula that protects my hair without weighing it down. I had been eyeballing it at Sally's for a while before finally deciding to give it a shot. Remember the posts I made a while back introducing the crème ( One n' Only Ceramic Silk), and the Curling Iron Glaze ( Products on My Radar)? Well, we no longer have to wonder what the products are like, because I tested both of them!
In addition to finding new heat styling products, I've also tweaked my flat ironing method a bit. Instead of using the iron on the highest heat setting, I've lowered the temp to get more body. Below is a video in which I explain my new straight hair regimen in detail. Check it out:
Str8 Talk: My New Str8 Hair Reggie
Before: Hair was limp & weighed down by too much product
After: Hair has a lot more body and is soft to the touch
