Fatherly Love

Hey divas,

I hope you showered all the fathers out there with lots of love and affection yesterday. Contrary to popular belief, there are some good men out there who take great care of their children. The bad ones seem to get all the press while the good ones tend to go unrecognized. Remember, one doesn't have to be the biological parent to provide support. In fact, it takes a village to raise a child, so a father can be a brother, an uncle, or any other positive male role model that happens to be around. We should celebrate our fathers daily, and raise our young men up to be strong fathers in the future.

XOXO,

Amen!!!! My man is an excellent father to his 3yr old daughter and a full-time dad. I showered him with love, gifts and an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery LOL. He appreciated it very much! I didn't have a father in my life but I am happy his daughter has him!

Father's Day is actually one of my very favorite holidays. My donor was never in my life so it makes me appreciate my Hubby that much more for all that he does for our lil munchkin. He is the best Father a kid could ever ask for. I did a craft activity with my son (since the daycare doesn't do that for Fathers day). We painted a picture frame and added a lot of different things to the frame that my husband loves, like sports. And we also made one for my father in law with different fishing things. And I put pictures of my hubby and my father in law in the frames. They absolutely loved it. Oh and we spent the day at the lake with the family. Awesome time.
