Keeping it Simple

Hey divas,

I don't know about you, but I'm starting to truly believe that keeping things simple is the best way to approach beauty. As I chuck out all the hair care supplies that have not benefited me, and stick to the ones that do, I feel much lighter and freer. The same goes for makeup. Sometimes a little mascara and lip balm is all I need to get on with my day.

I've been keeping things super simple ever since I started the "Take Back Your Hair" Challenge, and am falling in love with my curls much more than I was before. Using one product instead of a gazillion seems to have enabled my hair's natural beauty to shine through. I don't know how you ladies feel, but simplicity is what I need.

XOXO,

DPrincess28

I agree. I've been able to listen to my hair and found that the leave-in I was using wasn't really working. Now I have one with a lot of slip and moisture. I'm learning that my hair needs creamy products. I've been using the Cantu Shea Butter products, since my DC and I see a great difference. I love this challenge!!!

I do too. It's less stress when you only have a few products/items in your reggie. Everytime I get commplicated so does my hair!!! So I figure my hair and face like simple things. LOL.

Yes, I believe that also. I am in the process of narrowing my hair products down with the Take Back Your Hair challenge!

I also chucked out hair products (actually left them at the curb, just in case someone else wants them) this weekend. I ordered two products this weekend from curly mart to work with my new protective style, twist and curl. Feels good not to have products fall on me when I open the closet! LOL!

I totally agree! I mean the purpose of me going natural is to be free from the chemicals and all the stuff I was doing to my hair. Buying a load of products kind of defeated my purpose for saying goodbye to the creamy crack. I have been doing well on the challenge. I got my hair straightened once this month other than that its brai & twist outs! Im so proud of myself and Im loving my hair!
