Why??

For my divas that are married, does your husband tend to do things that make you ask, "Why??" Even if you're not married, I'm sure you've had a roommate or was forced to share a space with someone who had different habits than you. Habits that made you want to pull your hair out! For instance, my husband has a tendency to leave crumbs everywhere. It doesn't matter how clean I get the counters, because I'm constantly wiping up after him. That used to drive me crazy, but I've gotten so used to it that I would almost feel like I was the crazy one if I allowed myself to continue to get upset over something that I know he's going to do. Yet, there are still some things that he does that just make me scratch my head and ask, "Why?"

Just this morning, I woke up to find fingernail clippings in my sink. Now we have his and her sinks, so why couldn't he have left them in his sink? Why did he put them in the sink anyway and not the trash? Why????

XOXO,

Girl tell me about it! My husband never throws things in the garbage. He will take it in the kitchen and sit it on the counter, but never take the 3 or 4 steps to that garbage can. DRIVES ME CRAZY

LOl...funny. I am not married, but I do have a boyfriend of 6 months and he does things that makes me ask "why?" too. When he drives my car, he takes the keys out of the ignition without turning off my air condition and lights...and that use to drive me crazy! That is how we leave our headlights on all night and wake up the next day to a dead battery lol. I have since gotten used to it. It is good to hear your personal story, and if I marry him, the saga of asking "why?" will continue lol

I can totally relate to that. My husband does things all the time that make me ask "WHY!" However, I am pretty sure he could say the same thing about me. So just like you I've learned to pick my battles wisely and not trip on the small things. But, the finger nail clippings was a flash back for me...LOL.

Christina, what ever do you mean? Of course we don't do anything to irritate them... :-P

Grr my dad does that. It's so annoying! It's even more annoying when he "forgets" to pick his nail clippings off the floor so they end up stabbing me in my feet, ew.

Girl you got off easy if the clippings were in the sink! LOL. Why did my 10 month old pick up one of my hubby's clippings off the living room floor and was looking at it like, "Daddy what's this?" LOL!

How funny!! My boyfriend, whom I live with, does all kinds of craziness. He leaves the lights on in rooms he's not in. He doesn't empty his dishes - he just sets them in the sink to get all crusty. Of course he doesn't lower the toilet seat, so I've just gotten used to the fact that I have to put the seat down myself. sigh @ these men of ours. ;-)

My husband also walks to the kitchen to put things on the counter as opposed to the trash can. Drives me crazy! And he leaves the kitchen cabinets open after he takes something out Drives me crazier!!! It's simple: Get a glass and close the cabinet.
LOL-this feels like wives release session.

I guess its just a man thing, we will never understand...LOL...My husband has to scrub his shoes everyday with soap and a toothbrush. Soap flying all over the place, all over the walls, all over the mirror. Once he gets done, he puts newspaper in his shoes. When its time for him to put the shoes on, he just feels that it is okay to drop the shredded, wet newspaper on the floor.I am constantly picking it up and fussing.....don't let me get into the toilet seat...but, that's a given...your right, pick your battles.

Ugh! My husband drives me nuts with his dirty clothes and socks. Socks are every where! He takes everything off beside the bed, and I promise you it's only 2 steps away from the clothes hamper. UGH! And don't get me started on my brother in law. There are too many men in this house. LOL They don't all live here but they are here too much. LOL but I wouldn't trade a one of them.
