(New York, NY, December 15, 2011)  BLACK ENTERPRISE whose business mantra is “Wealth For Life”, spotlights the Business of Entertainment in the 2011 year-end issue. The Small Biz column, which provides expert advice for entrepreneurs features, Tony Award Nominated Broadway Actress Brenda Braxton, who is the proprietor of BBRAXTON Exceptional Grooming For Exceptional Men, an upscale grooming parlor located in Harlem. In the two page editorial, “One Step Back Two Steps Forward”, Ms. Braxton openly talks about the business challenges she faced, valuable lessons learned, and her strategy for success.

BLACK ENTERPRISE is the premier business, investing, and wealth-building resource for African Americans and is known for providing information to support business professionals from corporate executives to entrepreneurs like Brenda Braxton.  This article creates awareness about the challenges of juggling a busy career and running a business.  In 2006 when BBRAXTON initially opened, Brenda was starring in the Broadway revival of CHICAGO and she talks about how that impacted her business.  Ms. Braxton also talks about the process of reopening and discusses some of the changes she has made. The BLACK ENTERPRISE feature also provides a financial snapshot of BBRAXTON and offers information on the projected growth of the men’s grooming industry.

Since the reopening of BBRAXTON, Brenda Braxton and her team have been committed to growing the BBRAXTON brand and Brenda is thankful for the opportunity to share her story with BLACK ENTERPRISE. "BLACK ENTERPRISE has always been a supporter of BBRAXTON, and I appreciate their continued faith in me. Inclusion in the December issue with Alicia Keys on the cover is a great honor and a wonderful way to end the year!" says Braxton. With the holiday season finally here BBRAXTON has implemented several initiatives, which include Community Cuts Day every Tuesday and Wednesday, and the “Pamper Him For The Holidays” bus shelter ad campaign.
