A Good Hair Day
Okay, so I just wanted to share my "good hair day," with you guys ;-). As I'm sure many of you know, sometimes getting our natural curls to behave in a way that we would like them to does not always come easy. I was therefore so happy to look in the mirror the other day and see my curls looking springy, healthy, and full of life! Plus, they just seemed to fall in place, which isn't a regular occurrence for me...
Products used:
- Water
- Pure coconut oil
- Hawaiian Silky Curl Activator Gel
How are your curls doing?

IM ITCHING TO TAKE THESE SENEGALESE TWISTS OUT N SPORT MY CURLS BUT DUE TO SHRINGAGE IM DEBATING ON HOLDING OUT FA ANOTHER 3 MONTHS FOR SOME MORE LENGTH.
I'm just feeling extremely hair lazy lol. My hair has grown to the point that it is a job to try to make it look like anything. So I have just been doing my two-strand twists weekly and leaving it alone. Since I use KCCC in my hair when I do wear them out, I actually like the way my hair looks first day, but it feels better the second day. Once some of the "crunchy" has worked its way out lol.
So pretty! I got my hair done on tuesday into a flat twist updo....I miss my hair! I can't wait to untwist the front, then untwist the whole thing. That was my plan, wear for a week, then start to untwist and wear for another week. I miss my hair, but I needed a break =)
Crazy question I'm sure, but did you use the coco oil before or after the activator gel?
Did you use the coco oil before or after the activator gel?
@Me: Before. I apply it to damp hair first to lock in moisture. Styling aids come second.
