Flat Iron Curls

I just wanted to share one of my favorite hair pics with you, one that was taken back in March when I was following a heat styled regimen for the winter.

I love the look of these loose curls/waves, which I achieved with my flat iron. It took some time, but I've finally learned how to curl my hair with the iron on the first pass! No longer must I straighten my hair and then curl it. I just simply flip my iron once my hair is locked in it and drag it down. This means that I'm exposing my hair to less heat than if I were to flat iron and then use my curling iron...which I still do on occasion if I want a different look. I'm sure you've got some pics of your hair stashed away that you just like to look at and go ahhhh ;-P.
