I just wanted to update you guys on my makeup "upgrade" adventure. Again, I appreciate all the feedback you gave me, as I found it really, really helpful! I ultimately decided to start off slow, because initially I wanted to buy every pre-made palette I had posted a picture of in my "Which Palette Should I Get?" post. Trust, I can get a little ahead of myself sometimes, so what I decided to do is start off slow and get one palette at a time. After all, I may not even like the quality of the palettes, so why rush out and buy the whole lot? So, I purchased the palette that I felt I'd use the most, and that is the 28 piece neutral palette:
I took the advice some of you had given in the comment section of my original post and ordered it off of Ebay instead of the Coastal Scents website. The palette itself was $7.64 and the shipping was $10.00, so I got it for a total of $17.64. The palette retails for $18.95 on the Coastal Scents website, and that doesn't include shipping and handling.I received a notice that the palette shipped on Wednesday, so I'll let you ladies know what I think of it once it arrives. Nice choice....I'm gonna get some colorful palette's now since I have the money. Can't wait to see the tutorials. Can you do one on a daytime smokey eye look? Doesn't have to be black or grey, whichever looks best in the day time.
