Hot Miami Styles
I mentioned a while back in my The 411 post that I would be sharing some of the fabulous fashions from hotmiamistyles.com. Well, this post is long overdue for many reasons.
I now know why my focus has been on hair because blogging about clothes ain't easy! For one, you need good photographs, and I've been having issues with my camera (note the blurry pic below). I recently purchased a new camera (thank goodness!) so hopefully that will all change. You also need a good photographer, and asking folks to take your pics ain't easy. Trust, I torture my husband enough with the hair photos. Anyway, I unfortunately haven't been able to do outfits of the week, but wanted to share my new love with you, which is hotmiamistyles.com!
So, the first item I got from their site was the lovely coral and beige bandage dress you see pictured above. I didn't actually purchase the dress, but rather it was given to me as a gift from one of my sisters, who also loves the site. She also gave me this short romper...and when I say short, it is short, but very cute:
Now, it ain't summertime, and I already voiced my opinion of these short rompers many companies were pushing during the summer in my Epic Haul: Mommy Swag video. But, I thought it would be cool to show you how I would rock this if I were to wear it out:
I would basically pair it with my leopard print fedora (Forever XXI), and favorite leopard print stilettos, the ones that once inspired a makeup look. Here's a look at the items up close:
And here's an idea of what the romper looks like on:
Since I didn't purchase these items, I'm not sure how much they cost. However, I do know, now that I've perused the site in my quest for the perfect dress for my birthday, that most of their items run around $40. Well, many of their bandage dresses do at least. Now the really nice, celebrity inspired ones, those will run you a good $200. Either way, I think the site has a lot of great items, from blazers to evening wear.
